SparkCDN Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) designates activities that SparkCDN.com (“SparkCDN”) deems prohibited on it’s network by it’s users. SparkCDN reserves the right to modify the AUP at any time.

Illegal Use
SparkCDN’s network and services may only be used for legal purposes. The transmission, storage, or distribution of content that is in violation of any applicable domestic or foreign law or regulation is strictly prohibited. Furthermore, the SparkCDN network may not be used to distribute, store, or transmit any virus, Trojan horse, worm, or any other content that may be harmful to the SparkCDN network, equipment, or other users.

Email, Spam, etc.
Sending unsolicited mail messages ("Spam"), including but not limited to, commercial advertisements, chain-mail, and informational announcements, is prohibited. Any user relaying mail messages using another site’s domain name, without express authorization, is considered Spam and will be treated as such. Violators will face immediate suspension. SparkCDN reserves the right to determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, what constitutes a violation of this provision.

Customer Content Responsibilities
SparkCDN is in no way responsible for any Customer content that is delivered or stored on the SparkCDN network, nor do we have the ability to monitor or examine content for legality. SparkCDN Customers are solely responsible for any of the content that is transmitted, delivered, stored, or otherwise made available on the Internet using SparkCDN’s network. Customer is solely responsible for ensuring that all Customer content abides by any laws that are applicable to such content.

Network Security
Security and network violations are strictly prohibited. Any violations will result in termination of the Customer’s account. SparkCDN reserves the right to pursue any criminal and/or civil charges and will work with law enforcement officials in response to a violation. Examples of violations, but not limited to, are the following:

  • Unauthorized access to networks, databases, data, servers, or other equipment that the customer does not have authorized access to.
  • Unauthorized traffic or network monitoring without the express consent of the network owners, SparkCDN.com.
  • Interference with service to any user, host or network including, without limitation, flooding, and other deliberate attempts to disrupt service or the SparkCDN network and broadcast attacks.
  • Forging of any TCP-IP packet header or any part of the header information in an email or a newsgroup posting.
  • Taking any action in order to inflate, deflate, or otherwise adjust the billing and usage data for SparkCDN’s services.
  • Taking any action in order to obtain services to which Customer is not entitled or authorized

Reporting Violations
Users are responsible for reporting violations directly to SparkCDN. Please send an email to abuse@SparkCDN.com to report a violation.
